I’m so guilty of this I don’t think I know what it’s like to actually read a book slowly. Bookmark? You mean quitter-strip! LOL! Seriously, though, most of the time I read a book in one day. I might have to stop a lot to deal with other things but if I’m enthralled, I will lay aside everything I’ve deemed optional to sit and read.

It’s kind of got to the point now that if I happily put the book down, I often never return to it!

OH, yes, but it must grab me out of the gate. Then there was the time I saw the dawn come about as I read through the night on a Friday (no work to go to). But I was so much younger then. Could never do that now.

When I first found JAFF a few years ago there were times when I’d stay up very, very late. My kids were younger then so I think I was just more used to waking up all hours of the night. Now, I try to stop it around 1 but if I know there’s nothing planned the next day…

Too often for my own good sometimes. I have had a few sleepless nights because I can’t put a book down 😞. Luckily I have now retired so don’t have to be up at silly o’clock!

Something to look forward to in retirement, then! Or once my kids are old enough to get out the door on their own.
