Last week, I mentioned that my husband and I debate each year over the merits of our favorite contemporary Christmas song. Mine is All I want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey and only Mariah Carey, thank you, and amen. My husband is a big Beatles fan, so naturally, he loves Paul McCartney’s Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime. It’s not my cup of tea, but I wanted to include it just so you can get a taste of the torture I experience every year I mean, just in case you enjoy it.

The Beatles song (which I’d never heard before ) is not bad, but it gets extremely repetitive just listening to it all the way through, so I’m with you on not wanting to hear it endlessly, even at fourteen one-year intervals.

It’s just Paul McCartney and not the entire Beatles group but I agree, it just gets repetitive and annoying.
