Patience is not a virtue that I was born with. God insists on teaching me and He’s a very perseverant teacher. Unfortunately, I seem to fail the first three hundred times before getting to the next level. But you know what? God has never failed me. When I’m in a hurry to get through His lesson, He slows me back down.
If I didn’t have the long trials that I have had, would I have seen God move the way He has? He has moved mountains in my life! He has made countless ways where there was no way.
The biggest hindrance to His ability is myself. Lord, help me remember to have patience when I thought my fighting would be over. You’ve already won the battle and all I have to do is wait.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Matthew 17:20
Waiting for change to come
Knowing the battle’s won
For You have never failed me yet
I’ve seen You move, You move the mountains
And I believe I’ll see You do it again
You made a way, where there was no way
And I believe I’ll see You do it again
Amen
