1. Princess of Wales. Does that mean her husband was in line for the throne before his death? …knowing modern days titles

   1. Yes, she was married to the Prince of Wales. This is George III’s mother. His father, Frederick, predeceased George II. This was done after George III’s ascension, but I suppose his mother was allowed that title for life.
