The world these days is so full of shouting me, me, me! See me! Hear me! Don’t offend ME. Sometimes we bring that into our attitude even with God. We can only praise and worship when He’s done something for us or when we can see the good in it. The thing is, though, that God is worthy of all our praise and glory because of who HE is.
Because of who He is, we have life. We are saved. We are healed, made whole, and comforted. Every time I am dissatisfied with life, it’s because I’ve gotten my eyes off of Jesus and focused on me.
When I give God glory for who He is, I see the miraculous and supernatural.
And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.
