Music Monday– My Deliverer

This has been my favorite song since I was fourteen years old. I’ve been sitting on the “right time” to share it and today just feels like the right time. I’ve paired it with my favorite Bible verse.

For almost twenty-five years, this song has held me through some extreme trials. When I’ve felt like giving up and worried that my problem would be too great, God delivers.

My deliverer is coming. My deliverer is standing by.

He’s not far away or caught off guard by my problems. He’s right there, even when it doesn’t feel like it or I can’t readily see him.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
