That’s a lovely painting. Hope she is not uncomfortable with all those clothes…smiling. We are fortunate not to have to worry about grass stains in modern days.
Well, I suppose it would be more comfortable than a ball gown or other clothing. I look at fashion plates of things like walking dresses and sometimes wonder if they’re a bit like the pajamas or leggings/sweats of our day. I would never want to change out of them and into more restrictive things!
